Background:Coronary heart disease was at first a European illness but so far in the cardiaccenter of St. Elizabeth general hospital and cardiac center, there has beenincreased in the number of cases diagnosed and those managed, either surgically,through
interventional catheterization or by chemotherapy. This disease is adisease that causes sudden death when not easily diagnosed, accompanied bysevere chest pain. This requires a call for concern for the registered increased ofcases so far.
Critical points to unfold:
_ Statistical view of patients consulted in the hospital for the past five (5) years.
_ Different management techniques available in the center and statistics of
successful cases done.
_ The role of the nurse in the various management techniques over the period.
_ Challenges and life style proposals.
Conclusion: Yesterday was Africa but today and now we are moving toward modern lifestyle.
The best management skill remains prophylactic or preventive actions
